It's been awhile...

My computer sadly crashed and I have yet to find away to save the photos and videos we have lost., which has put getting in replaced on hold. This is the second time this has happened in my life. It will however, be the last.
 In the mean time here's what I have been up to, trying out making children's dresses. I have made 3 so far. One for Ella, I used left over fabric from a shower curtain I made, yellow and gray (picture not shown). The other 2 I made for a 9 month old and a 2 1/2 year old. I think they turned out cute. Let me know what you think. The pictures aren't that great but you get the idea.
I will do my best to keep up on my projects....

Beavers or Ducks?

I make fabric flower clips, I love making these. There are so many different ways to create, skies the limit. Each one is unique in its own way. My second knitted hat ever...

I'm very proud of this one. I added little buttons to jazz it up a bit. I used a loom and hook and it took me about 2 hours give or take. I was impressed with how easy it was to learn. If you have ever been thinking about trying it, go for it!

Another card I made today...

I love this one...I also make fabric flowers clips that you can wear in your hair. I took that same idea and made a smaller one to put on the card. I think it turned out cute!

Card Making Today

Today, I was able to make 3 cards. I have a sick little one which makes it very difficult to get things done. Note to self- Next time needs to be kids free:) This one is my favorite....

Jan. 10th

Big surprise...Didn't finish my curtain! Tomorrow is a new day and I have plans to make homemade birthday cards for the year with some friends, stay tuned for pictures.

The start...

I have decide to exerise my talents this New Year!! As I exerise my talents that are rusty I plan to try new things...Like knitting. So far I have accomplished 2 hats. The only size I have figured out how to make are for youngsters, my 8 month old wears it well:) I was in the middle of trying to make a scarf when my tool broke, ha! I just sat there looking at the unfinished scarf and couldn't help blaming Martha Stewart, for which it was her loom kit I bought just days before. I bought a new one (not designed by Martha) and have yet to knit again, not for the lack of wanting but life tends to take over.
However, I did finish a quilt for my bed, that has been almost complete for months now. Finally I pushed my sofa out of the way and took over the living room and finished it!! Now my next project is to finish the other half of the matching curtians. I finish one side months ago and everyday I look at our window and see that it's only have covered and everyday I think I should really finish that... So that is my next project-Wish me luck.
